more emphasis on measuring the abundance, distribution, and migration of ore elementsor elements directly related to ore, in order to track keterdapatan an ore deposition.
Geochemical exploration in a more narrow sense
prospecting, geochemical exploration is a technique through one or more systematicmeasurement of trace elements in rocks, soil, sediment, vegetation, water, or gas, toobtain geochemical anomaly, namely abnormal concentrations of certain elements thatcontrast against the environment (geochemical background)

Distribution of Elements in the Earth's Crust
The elements of a common basemetal: copper, zinc, and nickelare relatively rare, each onlyabout 100 ppm, while the teamjust eight constituent elements of the earth's crust that havemore abundance> 1%, namely:
  oxygen and silicon to formnearly 75% of the earth's crust,
